Champaign County Democratic Committees

Committees are essential to keep the Democratic agenda flowing out to all areas of Champaign County.

There are many ways to get involved in issues that are important to you and your family.  Everyone has a part in the committees no matter how big or how small. No task is unappreciated.  Everyone has their own unique perspective and ways to approach any given task. There are many ways to get involved that don't require a lot of time, or, if you have the time, there are ways to get involved that can keep you busy and fill your schedule!

Standing Committees

  • Events & Fundraising

    The Events & Fundraising Committee is responsible for identifying and organizing participation in annual community events in Champaign County, as well as organizing ongoing fundraising efforts to support the Champaign County Democrats.

  • Facilities

    The Facilities Committee is responsible for the management of our office space and maintaining equipment inventory.

  • Labor Relations

    The Labor Relations Committee is responsible for establishing and maintaining the Champaign County Democrats' relationships with local and state labor unions.

  • Media

    The Media Committee is responsible for maintaining the Champaign County Democrats' website and social media pages.

  • Voter Protection

    The Voter Protection Committee is responsible for conducting voter education, and recruiting and training poll watchers.

  • Voter Registration & Education

    The Voter Registration & Education Committee is responsible for organizing voter education and voter registration events.

  • Candidate Recruitment & Evaluation

    The Candidate Recruitment & Evaluation Committee is responsible for recruiting qualified candidates for all elected offices and providing evaluation feedback to the Central Committee.
